My name is Chungyool (Chung-yool) Kim and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Accounting Department at the University of Iowa, Tippie College of Business.  

My research primarily delves into corporate disclosures and how they are influenced by various incentives. Specifically, I examine corporate disclosure strategies across both traditional mediums (e.g., press conferences, 8-Ks, press releases) and innovative platforms such as social media. I will be entering the job market for the 2023-2024 academic year.
